Killin is the ideal base to discover the Perthshire, Stirlingshire and the Grampian Mountains. Here is just a small selection of big things you can do within/outwith the village.
Within the Village of Killin
- Bowling - Flat Green
- Boat trips on the Loch (day and evening available)
- Breadalbane visitor centre
- Canoe hire
- Cycling - lots of local and peaceful routes (inc. the 'Lowland Highland Trail'- Sustran network)
- Dunkeld - just down the Glen - is a great place to visit nd discover its' local history
- Films - see where Hitchcock's 39 Steps was based
- Finlairg Castle (Campbell's garrison stronghold)
- Fingal Stones
- Fishing - trout and salmon (on Loch Tay)
- Golf - Killin 9 hole course
- Jogging - many great circuits around the Glens !!

- Cycling - lots of routes (30 - 40 mile circular routes for the more adventurous)

- Skiing - Nordic style (Cross-Country) coaching and self guided

Please note that where equipment is required for your activity (eg, cycles, skis, ice axes, canoes etc) we can organise and/or reserve them for you. For your convenience we can even arrange for drop and collection of the items to Ardlochay Lodge
